Healthy lunch-time
chicken burger
With your favourite mayonnaise, lettuce & tomato. Serves a family of 4
Ingredients
4 x Chef Mo chicken burgers, cooked as indicated on pack
4 x Portuguese or sesame burger buns
1 x Salad tomato & green salad pack
Your favourite mayonnaise
Light butter spread for buttering your burger roll
Lunch is served, assemble your delicious burgers
- Cook the burger patties as per pack instructions
- Warm the buns & lightly butter, then layer in your lettuce, top with mayo, doing it this way will keep the burger from getting soggy
- Top with the patty & then finish with the sliced tomato
- Served with potato chips or your favourite potato crisps
RECIPE 2
5 Minute dinner
for the kiddos
Animal pasta shapes with butter
Serves 2 kiddos
Ingredients
1 x Packet Chef Mo chicken pops, cooked as indicated on pack
500g x Animal or fun pasta shapes, or macaroni cooked as per instructions on pack
100g x Frozen peas
Butter as required
Dinner is served!
- Cook the chicken pops and set aside
- Cook the pasta in boiling water, with a little salt & olive oil, as per timing on back of the pack
- In a pan melt the butter and toss the pasta shapes with the peas, until warm, add at the end add the pops
- Add parmesan cheese or your favourite cheese on top
- Serve up in a casserole dish
RECIPE 3
Fun kebabs for the
family meal
With 5 minute cheese sauce
Serves family of 6
Ingredients
1 Box Chef Mo chicken pops, cooked as indicated on pack
Enough wooden Bamboo skewers for the number of kebabs you want to make
500g Punnet of a variety of baby vegetables (we chose red onion, cherry tomato, roast butternut and baby marrow, but you can use whatever you have)
1 Packet of cheese sauce, follow cooking instructions on back of packet
100g Cheddar cheese cut into cubes
To assemble your skewers
- Cook the pops as indicated on pack
- Pan-fry or oven bake the vegetables for adding onto the kebabs
- Cut the cheese into blocks and set aside
- Alternate your pops and vegetables as indicated above
- Prepare the cheese sauce as indicated
- Serve it all over steamed rice for a healthy light lunch or dinner
RECIPE 4
Chicken chakalaka chutney and buttery beans
With a little mango atchar
Serves 4 adults
Ingredients
1 x Packet Chef Mo chicken nuggets, dry-fried in the oven
Chutney
Mango atchar
500g Punnet of fresh green beans
Butter as required
Dinner is served!
- Cook the nuggets as indicated on pack
- Steam the beans and pan-fry with a little butter
- Fill 2 bowls with chutney & atchar
- For a bigger variety of vegetable, use a mixed punnet
- Serve up in a casserole dish
